As fans eagerly await the announcement of the Galaxy Z Fold 2, an alleged render of the terminal has surfaced online. The opportunity to imagine what this next foldable smartphone from Samsung could really look like.
The South Korean firm will unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 2 next month during an unpacked event. And now, a few weeks before the officialization of the successor to the Galaxy Fold, a so-called rendering that allows us to admire its design has appeared on the web. We owe this one to the serial leaker Ishan Agarwal. The image which is quite blurry highlights the phone in a bronze color. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 will likely arrive with other products, including the Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Watch 3, Galaxy Z Flip 5G as well as the new Galaxy Buds.
A more elegant design
Despite its mediocre quality, the rendering allows us to see the screen borders of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 which are thinner compared to those of the Galaxy Fold unveiled in February 2019. This feature gives the new foldable smartphone a look more elegant.
Ishan Agarwal, however, warns about the legitimacy of this leak from the Chinese social network Weibo. According to him, the design of the so-called Galaxy Z Fold 2 seen in the image looks too good to be true. You are therefore advised to exercise caution.
A triple photo module?
Apart from this information, the rendering highlights the fairly impressive cameras of the Galaxy Z Fold 2. According to rumors, Samsung has opted for a triple back photo module consisting of a 64 million pixel telephoto lens, a large lens. -12 megapixel angle and a 12 megapixel main camera.
By the way, there would be a 10 megapixel camera inside. Recall that the first generation Galaxy Fold comes with three cameras (16 megapixels + 12 megapixels + 12 megapixels) on the back.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 will be made official on August 5. Hopefully new details will emerge in the near future.
